A serviced air conditioning system cools harder, heats cheaper and keeps its warranty. Our Refcom certified engineers service, maintain and repair Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and most other brands across West Lothian, Edinburgh and Central Scotland, whoever installed them, with the same engineers who look after climate systems for some of Scotland's biggest commercial sites. Published prices, written quotes, and a report you can actually read.
Prices include VAT. If our engineer finds a fault, you'll get a clear written quote before any repair work, nothing is done without your say-so.
Every service follows the manufacturer's maintenance schedule, not a filter rinse and a wipe-down:
Filters and evaporator coil cleaned, fan and louvres checked, condensate drain flushed to stop drips and smells
Condenser coil cleared, fan motor and mountings checked, airflow and clearances confirmed
Pressures and temperatures measured, leak check carried out and logged by Refcom certified engineers
Connections, sensors and controls tested, performance recorded, and a written report of anything we've found
A single-system service typically takes about an hour. Book before summer and the system is ready for the heat; book in autumn and it's ready for the winter heating season, because every system we install heats too.
Moved into a home with air conditioning already fitted, or had a unit installed by a company that's no longer around? We'll take it on. Our engineers work on Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsubishi Electric, Fujitsu, LG, Samsung, Panasonic and Toshiba systems, from single wall units to ducted and VRF.
Offices, retail, restaurants, server rooms and industrial units across Scotland: scheduled visits, statutory F-Gas leak checks and priority call-outs on one contract.

An annual maintenance visit for a single domestic system is from £120 including VAT, with each additional indoor unit on a multi-split £40. Commercial maintenance contracts are priced per site after a short survey, and you'll always have the price in writing before we book.
Once a year for a home system, and before the summer is the ideal time. Commercial systems, and any system running most of the day, are usually serviced twice a year. Annual servicing is also a condition of most manufacturer warranties.
Yes. Our Refcom certified engineers maintain Daikin, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and most other major brands across West Lothian, Edinburgh and Central Scotland, whoever fitted them.
Filter and coil cleaning on the indoor unit, condenser coil and fan check on the outdoor unit, refrigerant pressure and leak check, condensate drain flush, electrical connections and controls, and a performance test with a written report of anything we've found.
The most common causes are dirty filters and coils, a blocked condensate drain, low refrigerant from a small leak, or a sensor or controls fault. Most are found and fixed on the service visit; anything beyond that is quoted in writing before we go ahead.
Air conditioning refrigerants are fluorinated gases regulated under the UK F-Gas rules. Any work on the refrigerant circuit must be done by a certified company, and larger systems need regular leak checks by law. Thermal Care is Refcom certified (REF1019423), so every refrigerant task is logged and compliant.
Yes. Fault-finding, refrigerant leak repairs, compressor and fan motor replacement, controls and sensors, and full unit replacement where it's the better value. Repairs are quoted in writing before any work starts.
Yes, for offices, shops, restaurants, server rooms and industrial units across Scotland, including VRF and ducted systems. A contract covers scheduled visits, F-Gas leak checks and priority call-outs, priced per site after a survey.
Yes. Clogged filters and coils make the system work harder for less output, so a clean, correctly charged system cools and heats for less electricity, lasts longer, and keeps the manufacturer's warranty valid.
